ARCHER provides eddy current and ultrasound examinations of the reactor pressure vessel head and performs automated surface repair of the J-groove weld and the outside tube surface below the weld. It is applicable on both PWR and VVER types of nuclear power plants. Its capabilities include saving utility dosage and time. It relies on various inspection modules, as well as a range of INETEC probes such as PRO ULTRA SABRE and PRO ARCHER.
