It is no secret that INETEC is a partner in one of the biggest science projects in the history of our civilization - the ITER project - the world's largest fusion reactor. Fusion is the energy sourced from the Sun and Stars. In the centre of the ITER plasma, temperatures soar between 150 and 300 million °C. In the depths of the Sun where fusion reactions produce the energy, which we perceive as light and heat, temperatures reach 15 million °C. The ITER plasma is therefore ten times hotter than the centre of the Sun.
