Our colleague Luka Šarlija presented his scientific paper with the title “Numerical modelling of steam generator rolled plug using phase field approach” on the 16th World Congress on Computational Mechanics (WCCM 2024) and 4th Pan American Congress on Computational Mechanics (PANACM) held in Vancouver, Canada from July 21st to 26th, 2024.
The WCCM is one of the most important events in the field of computational mechanics, attracting leading experts and researchers from around the world. The scientific paper is part of Luka's PhD thesis in which he presented advanced methods for modelling impact that rolling process has on the rolled plug structural integrity, during the installation of the rolled plugs inside the damaged steam generator tubes. Well done Luka!
