OLM
OLM is an underwater manipulator designed for the visual inspection of the IRWST (in-containment refueling water storage tank).
Key Features
- 4 OLM configurations allow it to test under or above water depending on the water level in IRWST
- Modular construction allows quick and easy configuration changes
- OLM consists of the following parts:
- 6 thrusters for movement
- 2 surveillance cameras that allow the operator to navigate in space
- LED lighting - visual inspection cameras that provide insight into the state of the IRWST and its components
- A gripper used to remove any debris from the IRWST
- A power cord that floats and thus allows unimpeded movement through the water
