ASPIRA
ASPIRA is a remote-controlled system designed to perform the complete under water ultrasonic examination of baffle bolts as well as visual examinations of core basket inspection objects without repositioning. The ASPIRA manipulator has five degrees of freedom driven by electric motors and four degrees of freedom driven by pneumatic cylinders. The power supply, controller, video, pneumatic and communication modules are integrated in a system which can be remotely operated by an ethernet connection
