Electronics Engineer (m/f)

We are looking for Electronics Engineer (m/f) to join our innovative research team in Zagreb, Croatia.

About INETEC

INETEC – Institute for Nuclear Technology is at the forefront of technological innovation, pioneering various non-destructive testing (NDT) services and developing customized cutting-edge solutions for the inspection of critical components in nuclear power plants. With a legacy of excellence since 1991, we lead the way in industrial projects spanning nuclear, oil and gas, aerospace, and medical technology. Our mission? Creating a reliable future through relentless research, development, and innovation. We are proud to have successfully completed over 20 development projects on ultrasound applications co-funded by the European Commission, 3 prestigious projects for the European Space Agency (ESA), and years of dedicated development activities for the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) organization. Our commitment to scientific excellence is further demonstrated by our more than 100 peer-reviewed international scientific publications.

The Project - Redefine the future of imaging technology

Imagine being part of a groundbreaking project that turns science fiction into reality. At INETEC, we are developing an advanced 3D low-frequency ultrasonic tomography system poised to revolutionize industrial inspections and medical diagnostics. Join us in designing and validating this state-of-the-art imaging technology and make a lasting impact. The main aim of ultrasound tomography is to create detailed cross-sectional images of internal structures using ultrasonic waves, significantly enhancing medical and industrial diagnostics. This technique offers high-resolution, accurate visualizations that reveal the spatial distribution and properties of materials within the examined object. Ultrasound tomography can complement MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) and CT (Computed Tomography) scans in specific applications, offering distinct advantages: safety (uses non-ionizing radiation), cost-effectiveness (more affordable than MRI or CT), portability (easily transportable equipment), real-time imaging (provides immediate results). In medicine, it excels in breast imaging, liver and abdominal imaging, and vascular imaging. In industry, it is ideal for material inspection and structural health monitoring. Join us and be part of this revolutionary journey to advance imaging technology.
