We are looking for an Eddy Current Probes Development Associate (m/f) to join our R&D team.

Who are we?

We are INETEC – a high tech company that designs, develops and produces robots, instruments, software, controllers and probes. For 30 years INETEC has been providing leading-edge technology and services in the nuclear industry. We are collaborators on some of the most important nuclear projects in the world, such as ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor), which is an international nuclear fusion engineering project. Our efforts have been recognized by international organizations. INETEC has been commissioned by the European Space Agency for various aerospace robotics and NDT projects. Alongside nuclear and aerospace projects, we work on innovative robotics projects in the field of medicine.

What will be your main tasks:

  • become a crucial part in designing and developing eddy current probes along with robotic systems for medical and aerospace industry, as well as nuclear power plants
  • depending on your knowledge and interest you will research the field of electromagnetism while modelling probes
  • establish and improve solutions based on experimental system testing and materials testing
  • develop detailed design documentation
  • propose and carry out new probes' features
  • make conceptual proof-of-concept designs using the rapid prototyping technologies (3D printing, mold casting)
  • create test jigs, cabling, test samples to validate PoC designs in short period between design iterations

More about you:

  • university degree
  • proficient in English (written and spoken)
  • affinity for team work
  • independent in carrying various basic technical operations (using electronic equipment for measurement, electro-mechanical assembly etc.)
  • skilled in manual operations with various workshop tools (e.g. soldering)
  • balance between office work and workshop tasks to cover every aspect from design to PoC assembly
  • desire to learn and master new skills
  • desirable, but not essential:
    • knowledge of CAD design
